I was at the grocery store today to pick up some salmon and the lady at the fish counter suggested I try Arctic Char. She said it was a cross between salmon and trout but had a milder flavor. I thought “why not try something new”. So glad I did. This fish is the most delicious I have ever had. While it is very similar to salmon, it is much more moist. I used the same marinade as for the salmon and grilled it for about 7 minutes. The result was delicious. (By the way, this is my “go-to” marinade for fish, chicken, shrimp, etc. It is super easy and results in delicious flavor). Unfortunately, I don’t have a photo of the Arctic Char I served, my family inhaled it and I was lucky to get a little taste. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to serve it again soon. I will get the photo then!
