This wine has a beautiful, pale yellow color with a wonderful aroma that is hard to put words to.  The best way to describe the aroma is just “ahhhh” but that doesn’t mean it is short on flavor.  Quite the opposite!  Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay has a delightful buttery oakiness that isn’t heavy or acidic.  The pear notes are full and juicy with slight hints of apple and citrus.  This wine has a great soft feel to the palate.  I would definitely invest in a case of this.  We served it with a meat and cheese plate (pictured below) which is what I try to taste all the wines I review with so I have a consistent platform.

Now keep in mind that I’m not a white wine fan – but with that in mind I would give this 3.5+ out of 5 stars.

I wouldn’t hesitate to serve this wine with a fresh salad, grilled shrimp, and grilled vegetables.  I think it would  compliment the grilled food beautifully.
