Balsamic Reduction for Sweet Potatoes
Have you tried balsamic reduction sauce on sweet potatoes? It is absolutely fantastic! The two were made to go together. Make some balsamic reduction and keep it on hand for baked sweet potatoes, sweet potato fries, pork, beef or chicken for a glaze. Makes the perfect “catsup” for the fries.
Balsamic Reduction Sauce
1 c balsamic vinegar (feel free to use a flavored on. I love the fig)
3 T pure maple syrup (you can also use honey or agave)
2 T raw sugar
Heat all the ingredients in a sauce pan and reduce by half. Allow to cool to room temp. Store in a covered container.
