Perfecting Recipes
I recently received an e-mail from a reader asking why I hadn’t posted many recipes in recent history. I guess I need to address this – When I post a recipe it isn’t something I have just made up and decided to post. I actually go through a process of perfecting the recipe. I make the recipe, serve it to my family, make notes of changes to the recipe, make it again, serve it to my family, make notes of additional changes to the recipe, make it again and – well, you get it. Sometimes a recipe will take many, many revisions before it shows up here. That is because I want to give you recipes you are going to enjoy, not just something I was thinking might taste good.
Here are some recipes I am currently working on (they may eventually show up here but only after testing and taste testing repeatedly. If the recipe turns out not to be tasty, it won’t be here.):
Creamy garlic and parmesan with broccoli
Coq au Vin
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
Pumpkin Cake with Toffee Frosting
Cabbage Rolls
Rouladen with Gravy
Cranberry Orange Bread
So, keep checking back on a regular basis and see what is new. You will also know that the recipe is delicious!
