Game Day Party Mix

This is my own version of party mix and one my family loves.

Game Day Party Mix

1 box Corn Chex cereal

1 box Rice Chex cereal

1 box Cheez-its

3 sticks butter

7 T Worcestershire Sauce

1 T plus 1 1/2 t seasoned salt

1 t thyme

1/8 t cayenne pepper

2 1/4 t garlic powder

1 1/2 t onion powder

Pre-heat the oven to 250 degrees F.

In a large baking pan, mix together the cereals and the Cheez-its.

In a medium size skillet, melt the butter and add the seasoned salt, thyme, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.  Whisk until blended and no lumps of dry seasonings remain.   Add the Worcestershire sauce and stir until blended and the mixture is hot.  Carefully pour over the cereal and stir to coat evenly.  Bake for 2 hours, stirring after 1 hour.  Remove from the oven and cool completely.  Serve or cover tightly until ready to serve.

Options:  you can add any cereal or cracker you light to make the mix your own.  Cheerios, pretzels, oyster crackers, nuts, etc.
