Very full bodied.  This wine has a lot of character.  Beautiful deep ruby color with a lot of berry and plum flavors plus medium tannins.  Also has a prominent peppery spiciness and I picked up a hint of truffles as well.  I would serve this wine with rich, spicy foods like a beefy ragu or with wild game but is also good on its own.  Love, love, love this wine!  Exceptional value with 4 out of 5 stars.  Definitely case worthy!
